When Death Comes Calling

When someone we love dies, it leaves a giant hole in the middle of our being.
When a mother or father loses their child, a child loses a parent, a spouse loses his or her mate, or a friend passes on, or when we lose our life long furry or feathered friend, it can be devastating. Death comes like a thief in the night and takes that which we love, often love the most, and leaves us wondering what happened to the life we had, and in a place that can be dark, empty, and for some - horrifying.
Losing a loved one is a lonely journey, and one that we can really only travel by our self. Even when we have others around, supporting us, we still feel that we are totally alone. Suddenly, the life you knew, the life you had, no longer exists. Everything has changed. Yet, everyone else is going about their business, doing their lives, seemingly untouched, at least in the way that you have been touched.
It’s as if you have been buried alive; as one person said to me, “I feel as though I have been buried alive in Styrofoam”. I understood. Looking at the surrounding world can seem quite frightening. Listening to what others say can be horrifying, and often, instead of helping, what our friends and relatives say to us can actually make it worse.

The Purpose of This Blog
The reason I have chosen to write this blog, is because my son Spencer, who is on the other side, instructed me to do so. In this format, I will share my experiences, and the stories I have witnesses myself, working as a medium for others so that they could have time and communication with their loved ones who have crossed over.
As you read my introduction you will learn how things unfolded for me after Spencer’s death, and you will bear witness to my resistance to do what I was being given to do, and together we will share in the magic of love, as love never dies.
